61 Executive Transport Leads at 15.80 Dollars in the First 19 Days

Business Overview

Executive Fleet provides premium chauffeur and executive transport in Australia. Corporate clients, executive travel and event transport. Booking values are high and the repeat corporate relationship is worth considerably more than any single transaction.

The Challenge

A brand new Google Ads account with no conversion history, no keyword data and no audience signal. New accounts are where most advertising budget gets wasted, because the bid strategy has nothing to learn from and the temptation is to launch broad, spend fast and hope the data arrives before the money runs out.

Objectives

  • Launch a new account and reach stable lead flow quickly
  • Establish a cost per lead that works against executive booking values
  • Prove the landing page and the offer before adding budget
  • Build clean conversion tracking from day one so scaling decisions rest on real data

Initial Metrics

Account historyNone. New account, no conversions, no data

Audit Findings

  • No conversion tracking was in place. Launching a new account without it is how a business loses its first month of budget and learns nothing from it.
  • Two conversion paths existed in the business, web form and phone, and only one of them was going to be measurable at launch.
  • Executive transport queries sit close to lower value transfer and rideshare queries in the auction, so the campaign needed tight intent from the first day rather than after the first cleanup.
  • The landing page described the fleet rather than the outcome the corporate buyer is actually purchasing, which is a professional arrival and the certainty that the car will be there.

Strategy

Start small, start narrow, and buy proof before buying volume. Fifty dollars a day is enough to prove intent and conversion rate in a premium service category. It is not enough to waste, which is exactly why it is the right number to launch on.

Campaign Structure

One search campaign covering executive and corporate chauffeur intent. Deliberately a single campaign, so the 50 dollar budget produced enough conversions in one place for the bid strategy to exit learning rather than splitting thin across three campaigns that each learn nothing.

Tracking Improvements

  • Submit Lead Form configured as a primary conversion from the website
  • Click to Call configured as a second primary conversion so phone demand would be counted as soon as volume allowed
  • Both actions set to bid optimisation, so the strategy learned from every genuine enquiry rather than a subset of them

Bidding Strategy

Maximize Conversions with a target cost per acquisition set against executive booking value rather than a generic lead benchmark. In premium transport the wrong target does not just cost efficiency, it changes the type of customer the campaign attracts.

Creative Changes

Ad copy was built around corporate reliability, professional chauffeurs and executive standard vehicles. Price was deliberately left out of the message, because the corporate buyer is not comparing on price and leading with cost invites the wrong enquiry.

Landing Page

The page was rebuilt around the corporate buyer’s real question, which is whether the car will arrive and whether the driver will be professional. The lead form was kept short enough to complete on a phone but detailed enough to qualify the booking.

Reading the Numbers

61 qualified enquiries from 272 clicks in the first 19 days of a brand new account is a strong start. A 22.43 percent conversion rate on a cold account means the targeting and the page agreed with each other from launch rather than after two months of correction. At 15.80 dollars per lead against executive transport booking values, the margin is wide.

The data also shows exactly where the next gains are. The campaign is Eligible and Limited, so the 50 dollar daily budget is capping available demand. The lead form conversion is still Active and Learning, which means the bid strategy has not finished calibrating and efficiency should improve on its own. Click to Call recorded zero conversions and shows as Eligible and Limited, so phone demand is not yet being captured. In a chauffeur business that is unmeasured revenue rather than absent revenue. The 72.27 percent optimisation score reflects a new build with incomplete asset coverage rather than a performance problem.

Scaling Process and Budget Changes

  • Raise the daily budget in steps from 50 dollars while holding the target cost per acquisition
  • Fix call tracking so phone enquiries are counted and bid for. This is the single largest gain available in the account
  • Allow the lead form conversion to exit learning before making structural changes
  • Add Performance Max only once the search campaign is consistently producing 30 or more conversions a month to feed it
  • Lift the optimisation score by completing extensions and asset coverage, which also improves auction competitiveness

Key Learnings

01

Set up conversion tracking before you spend, not after. A new account without tracking is a month of budget bought for nothing.

02

Fifty dollars a day is enough to prove a market. Prove first, scale second.

03

Uncounted phone leads make good accounts look average and cause good campaigns to be paused.

04

Do not restructure a campaign that is still in learning. Let it finish, then act on what it tells you.

Final Business Impact

A new account producing 61 executive transport enquiries at 15.80 dollars within 19 days, with tracking, structure and a scaling sequence already in place. The account was not just launched. It was built so the next 5,000 dollars of budget has somewhere sensible to go.

Figures are drawn from the platform and analytics reporting for each account in the period stated.
