The process of adding a user in Google Ads classic interface involves navigating through specific steps within the platform. By following a structured approach:
- Begin by signing in to ads.google.com
- Click on the Tools & Settings icon located in the upper corner (resembling a wrench).
- Navigate to ‘Access and Security’ under the ‘Manager’ section.
- Click the plus icon below the ‘User’ options.
- Enter the email of the individual you wish to grant access to and specify their role.
- The invitation will appear as pending until the inviter accepts it.
- The inviter needs to access their Gmail to accept the invitation. Once accepted, the added individuals and their roles will be visible.
For the new interface or 2024 Google Ads:
In the updated interface Google Ads, the process has been streamlined to enhance user experience without compromising functionality:
- Sign in to ads.google.com
- On the left side of the interface, find and click on ‘Admin’ at the bottom.
- Explore the options and select ‘Access and Security’ (usually the fourth option).
- Click the plus icon below the ‘User’ options.
- Enter the email of the person you wish to grant access to and define their role.
- The invitation will be pending until the inviter accepts it.
- The inviter must access their Gmail to accept the invitation. Once accepted, the added individuals and their roles will be visible.
